Product & Binding Safety

Yes — when done with care. A well-fitted binder, used with breaks and self-awareness, is safe for most people.

Always listen to your body. Binding shouldn’t cause pain, bruising, or breathing issues. When in doubt, take it off and rest.

During your first 1–2 months of binding, it’s best to limit wear to around 6–8 hours a day to give your body time to adjust.

Once you’re comfortable and confident in your binder, longer wear times can be totally safe — just keep listening to your body.

Always remove your binder before sleep, and take rest days when you need them.

No — sleeping in a binder puts stress on your lungs, ribs, and circulation.

Instead, try a soft compression top or loose sleepwear if you need comfort at night. Your body deserves rest.

Yes — as long as your binder fits well and lets you move comfortably.

For light to moderate activity like walking, working, dancing, or running errands, binding is typically fine.

Choose only binder styles that are designed for active movement — with stretch, breathability, and freedom to move.

Your binder should support you — never restrict you.

Stop immediately and remove the binder.

Sizing & Fit Help

Start with your top bust measurement (taken around the fullest part of your chest) and your body weight. Match them to our sizing chart to find your best fit.

Each TOMSCOUT binder has its own specific chart — so always refer to the one listed on the product page.

You’ll need two key numbers:

• Your top bust — measured around the fullest part of your chest
• Your body weight — in kg

Use a flexible measuring tape, keep it level, and stand relaxed — no need to over-tighten.

If you're in between sizes:

• Choose the larger size if you have broad shoulders or prefer more comfort
• Choose the smaller size if you want more compression and are on the lower end of the weight range

Yes! If you don’t have a measuring tape, you can still estimate your top bust using your bra or sports bra size.

We’ve created a helpful Bra Size to Bust Conversion Chart to guide you — no tools required.

While this method is a great backup, we still recommend measuring with a soft tape for the most accurate fit.

A good fit feels snug — but never painful.

You should be able to breathe fully, move freely, and wear it for hours without sharp discomfort. It should flatten your chest without digging in, causing bulges, or leaving red marks.

If it hurts, pinches, or feels wrong — it’s not your size.

Absolutely. Our Fit Guarantee means you can exchange your binder for another size within 14 days — no stress.

Your order will arrive in plain, unmarked packaging with no mention of TOMSCOUT, binders, or gender on the label.

We typically respond within 3 business days, and we’ll do everything we can to make things right.

Payment & Checkout

Yes — your security is our priority.

Our site is protected with a GoDaddy SSL certificate, and all payments are encrypted with 256-bit SSL technology.

We never store your full card details. Your checkout is handled by trusted global payment providers.

If your order hasn’t shipped yet, email us at hello@tomscout.com within 2 hours of placing it, and we’ll help update it.

If it’s already on the way, we can’t make changes — but you’re welcome to request an exchange once it arrives.

On the cart page, enter your promo code in the “Discount code” field and click Apply.

Only one promo code can be used per order, and it must be entered before you complete checkout.

Returns, Exchanges & Fit Guarantee

No worries — you’re covered by our Fit Guarantee.

If your binder doesn’t fit right, you can request an exchange for another size (as long as it’s unworn, except for trying on).

Yes — as long as it meets our return criteria.

Items must be unworn (besides trying it on), with tags attached and in original condition. Returns are available for store credit or exchange.

• Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and with tags intact.
• We only allow one exchange per order.
• We currently do not offer refunds — only store credit or exchange.
