Before You Apply:

👉 Selection Process: To ensure fairness, we now provide free binders exclusively to the Top Five Storytellers each month. To qualify, submit a true story and complete the form accurately.

👉 Duplicate Submissions: Submitting multiple applications will cause delays. If you submit more than once, all entries will be forfeited.

👉 Measuring Requirement: Applications that state "I don't know" or "I can't measure" will be automatically disqualified, even if your story is compelling.

🚫 (Do not use AI-generated responses. We can tell the difference!)

Frequently Asked Questions

This program is for trans, nonbinary, gender-diverse, and questioning people who need a binder but can’t safely or affordably get one.

🌍 Priority is given to applicants facing financial or safety barriers — often minors and young adults. If a binder would make a real difference for you, you’re welcome to apply.

Yes. Applicants must be 16 or older to apply on their own.

🔹 Under 16? You may still qualify with parental/guardian consent, depending on your country’s rules.

This guideline exists to keep everyone safe and ensure binders are used responsibly. If you’re younger, we recommend safe binding resources and speaking with a trusted adult.

No. We can’t send binders to everyone. Each month, a limited number of recipients are chosen based on the stories shared.

💡 Tips to improve your chances:
– Be honest about why a binder matters to you.
– Don’t worry about perfect writing — just use your own voice.
– Complete the Google Form fully.

Yes. The binder is free, but applicants cover the shipping cost.

💡 Why? Returned and uncollected deliveries create waste. A small shipping fee helps ensure binders reach the right people.

We keep shipping as affordable as possible, and every dollar goes toward getting your binder safely to you.

👉 If shipping costs are a barrier, let us know in your application — support may be available.

Yes. Your privacy is our top priority.

  • Packaging is plain with no logos or gender/LGBTQ terms.
  • For customs, it’s declared simply as “sports bra” or “clothing.”
  • From the outside, no one can tell what’s inside.

Every Freedom Binder is brand new — unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.

We believe everyone deserves the dignity of a fresh binder that’s truly their own.

Applications are reviewed monthly. If selected, you’ll receive an email with confirmation and shipping details.

⏳ Binders usually ship within 2–4 weeks of approval. If you aren’t selected this round, you’re welcome to reapply.

Applications can’t be edited after submission.

📩 If you made a mistake — or no longer need a binder — email us at hello@tomscout.com. We’ll update your details or withdraw your request so another person in need can apply.

Custom Import Taxes Disclaimer

Custom Import Taxes May Apply:
Some countries impose import taxes and declaration fees on shipments. TOMSCOUT does not cover these taxes, so please be aware of your country’s import policies.

All TOMSCOUT shipments are declared at a standard value of SGD 10.00 and listed as "clothing" or "sports bra."

Important Notes:

TOMSCOUT Will Not Reship a Binder If:

👉 You fail to resolve the customs declaration process.
👉 You fail to collect the shipment from your local post office.
👉 The shipment is automatically returned to TOMSCOUT.
